A new attitude is emerging that the “changing of the guard” to e-publishing and mobi-sites make text editors of the written word obsolete. This is a fallacy at the least and malicious disinformation at the most. E-publishing contains content that has to be groomed and text processed. Therefore the need for text editors will remain. But, and this is the point, such a need is becoming even more acute and focusses increasingly on specialised text processing, not only grooming of the language. With the different market niches targeted through e-publishing an interesting tendency is taking place. The true content creaters who are able to manipulate text according to spesific target groups are ironically again coming to the fore. CLV
